A Solo Exhibition in The Pale Space Gallery Cafe on Thomas Street, Dublin.

The title of this photographic work is ‘Frame’ as a direct reference to some possible definitions of what a home is. Is it merely a structure that gives shape and support, or an enclosing border into which something is fitted (the frame of the picture), or does it really refer to a condition or state, as in ’frame of mind’. I endeavour to challenge ideas of what a home is or should be. What is our psychological attachment to the concept of home? Is a person defined by their private environment? Does the physical boundary protect us or contain us? We keep others out but allow them to see in. The viewer becomes a voyeur as public invades private space.
